Hey there from Dallas to 280 of you beautiful people,
It’s Friday…not Thursday but there is a good reason why it’s delayed.
I was sitting in my car. It had been about 25 minutes and I was growing impatient.
I’m not a patient person. It’s something I constantly work on. I was told it would take 20 minutes and we were past that time limit. I still had about 10 cars ahead of me too.
I just wanted to know.
Another 10 minutes went by, so I scrolled through Twitter. Just trying to pass the time until I would finally know. I grew more impatient but slowly cars drove off and I moved closer to the front of the line. 10 cars down to 7, down to 5, down to 4, and finally I was car number 2.
That’s when he walked towards me. And I knew what was coming by his approach.
He stayed far away from my window as I rolled it down.
“Sir, you have Covid.”
Was I surprised? No.
I had been feeling all of the symptoms over the past week. At first, I thought it was allergies, then maybe the flu, but then it was clear to me. I went to get tested to make sure. The test wasn’t nearly as bad as they make it out to be. Strep throat test is far worse in my opinion.
I spent most of yesterday resting as my head felt like it was being squeezed in a vice. Today, I feel better.
Life goes on. I’ll stay quarantined for a while. Then with my newfound immunity for at least a couple of months, I will go travel. It’s time I got back on a surfboard. I think that’s what I’ll do first.
Today’s issue will be quick.
So now for three things.
I’m launching Pitch Masters with Cameron Holmes later today.
It’s a subscription-based community for salespeople. We are excited and I’ve been putting videos on my Twitter all week.
Here’s the first one.

The link to signup will be on Twitter later today if you want to join.
Or just reply to this email and tell me you want to join.

I recently finished this show on Netflix. Highly recommend. Great storytelling. It’s a show that’s both entertaining and can teach you a great deal about effective world-building and storytelling.
Before I go I want to highlight a few things.
First, I’ll be joining Ali Abdaal’s YouTube course starting next week as a Guest Lecturer on Performative Speaking. We already conducted an interview and I’ll be leading two different workshops during the course. Hope to see you there.
Second, I’ll also be joining Cam Houser with his Minimum Viable Video course on Dec 1 as a Guest Lecturer on Performative Speaking. While Ali’s course is currently closed for registration, Cam’s is still open. Go check it out here: Minimum Viable Video.
Third, My good friend Alejandro Navia has an incredible course on Mushrooms he is running tomorrow! Go check it out here and sign up. Mushroom 101
See yall next week! Back on Thursday.
Cheers.
